Great question!

"Nav" refers to the "navigational" element on a web page.

In web terminology there might be a right, left, top, tabbed nav, etc.

In my case I should have a main Right Nav occupying that column of white space on the right hand side of the page (sometimes referred to as the RHS) but (probably because my images are too big) it's decided to plop itself down on the very bottom of the page where it's completely useless.

Except this only happens on the homepage of my blog, not on archived pages and so far all debugging attempts have been for naught. (as in naught-y website)

I actually have something to add about Ferris Wheels. The first Ferris Wheel was erected for the 1892 Columbian Exposition in Chicago. It was the idea of a Mr. Ferris. I forget his first name. At any rate, the fair's organizers were not a fan of allowing a giant turning wheel on bicycle spokes to be set up at the fair. However, the organizers ran out of time to come up with "something" to outdo Eifle's Tower in Paris (erected during the Paris World Fair). As a result, they allowed Ferris to build his iron wheel only months before the fair's commencement. It was a hit, and has become an important center piece of American fairs and festivals.

By the way, if you're wondering where I got this interesting little tip bit of info, I got it from The Devil in The White City.
